When he fought Michael Spinks in their heavyweight title bout on 6/27/88 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, it was Tyson’s debut as a pay-per-view fighter, garnering 700,000 buys. When Tyson won in a first-round knockout, he retained the WBA, WBC and IBF heavyweight titles. In this iconic image, Tyson stands over a defeated Spinks after knocking him out at 1:31 of their scheduled 12-round fight. Tyson has signed this Knockout 36” x 18” image in silver paint pen.
