Tiger Woods entered the 2012 Memorial Tournament with 72 PGA victories trailing his golf idol and tournament host Jack Nicklaus by one for second place all-time. With three holes to play Tiger trailed the leader Rory Sabbatini by two strokes. Tiger hit his par 3 tee shot 205 yards into the rough all but eliminating any practical shot at tying Sabbatini on the 16th hole. But in vintage Tiger Woods fashion, he showed off his courage and his delicate touch with a perfectly-placed chip from 50 feet away that rolled in for birdie and tied him for the lead. Tiger celebrated his vintage birdie chip, with a vintage Tiger Woods fist pump. Woods birdied three of his last four holes to win the Memorial Tournament and earn him his 73rd victory, but it was the chip on 16 that will forever be remembered.
