Official National League baseball has been hand-signed in black ink pen by Burleigh Grimes (D. 1985, Pirates, Cubs HOF). Please note, display case not included.

Grimes was a pitcher and the last one who was officially allowed to throw the spitball. Over his 19 year career he won 270 games and pitched in 4 World Series, winning 1 in 1931. In 1964 he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
