Amelia Earhart Signed 18.25x21.25 Custom Framed Cut Display with Postcard & Coin (Beckett Encapsulated)

This is a museum quality triple matted display meant for generations of enjoyment. The display measures 18.25 x 21.25 in size and features a hand-signed cut written in blue ink pen by Amelia Earhart (July 24th, 1897-July 2nd, 1937). This amazing display also features a 1963 First Day Cover with an 8 cent Amelia Earhart Air Mail stamp, and a 1932 medal struck in her honor.

Amelia Earhart set many records including being the first female aviatrix to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She was also an accomplished author who wrote many novels about her flying experiences.

On May 20th, 1937 she and Fred Noonan, her navigator, set off on the first leg of their around the world flight. After logging 22,000 miles and with only 7,000 to go, they took off from Lae, New Guinea and flew towards Howland Island. They never arrived due to communication and navigation problems with their ground support. To this day no one has solved the question of "What happened to Amelia Earhart?"
