This is a unique museum quality triple matted 22.5" x 30.5" Presidential Naval Appointment of Arthur Rice, to the position of Lieutenant Commander. It is hand-signed in black ink by our 28th President, Woodrow Wilson, and co-signed by Secretary of the Navy, Josephus Daniels. The display includes a Woodrow Wilson stamp on a First Day Cover, a bronze Woodrow Wilson Medal, and a finely engraved plague with Wilson's biographical dates of (December 28th, 1856-February 3rd, 1924) and dates of service as our 28th President (1913-1921), and a quote "I not only use all the brains that I have, but all that I can borrow."
Woodrow Wilson has been rated our 7th best President by a group of 50 prominent American historians. He led America during World War 1 and was instrumental in the formation of the League of Nations, the precursor to today's United Nations. This is truly a fine Presidential collectible to enjoy for generations.
