Messier won six Stanley Cup titles over his career with the Oilers and Rangers. He is best known for leading the Blueshirts to their 1994 Cup title, the franchise's first Cup since 1940. Messier won one Conn Smythe (Playoff MVP) and two Hart trophies (regular season MVP) over his illustrious career. Messier was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007. His number 11 was retired by both the Rangers and Oilers.
