Player Model Marucci baseball bat has been hand-signed and inscribed in silver paint pen by David Ortiz (Red Sox).
After signing with Boston in the winter of 2003, Ortiz, a 9-time All Star helped the Red Sox reverse the "Curse of the Bambino" en route to their first world championship in 86 years in 2004. In 2007, he helped guide the Red Sox to their 2nd championship in four years. In 2013, he brought the world crown back to Boston, a World Series in which he was named Most Valuable Player. On September 12, 2015, he became the 27th member of the 500 career home run club.
