It was a year in the making but the wait was well worth it. Ben Simmons was selected first overall by the 76ers in the 2016 NBA Draft but sat out that first year with an ankle injury. So when he made his debut on 10/18/17, all eyes were on Philly. The 6-foot-10 former LSU star didn't disappoint, notching a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds in a close loss to the Wizards. He also added five assists, two steals and a block in his coming out party.
