One of the most popular series of Old Timers games ever staged were the Cracker Jack Old Timers Baseball Classics, which were played from 1982-85 at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. The inaugural installment of this franchise is the most celebrated because of the 250-foot home run hit by seventy-five-year-old Hall of Famer Luke Appling.
