The Edmonton Oilers used their first-round pick in the 1980 NHL Draft to select defenseman Paul Coffey. Coffey had tremendous speed which caused him to always be involved in offense despite his defensive role. He ranks second all-time among NHL defensemen in career goals, assists and points. Coffey also holds the record for most seasons leading the league in scoring by a defenseman. Coffey has signed this acrylic Edmonton Oilers logo puck in black paint pen.
