While some wondered about the immediate chemistry that would exist between LeBron James and Anthony Davis upon the latter's arrival in Los Angeles before the 2019-20 season. Those fears were put to rest on day one of training camp as the duo clicked right away. It was an interesting chemistry experiment as the Lakers' roster was markedly different than it was in James? first year there the season before. But when you're dealing with other-worldly basketball IQ players like AD and LeBron, it's not that surprising that both players are leaders wherever they go. Davis brought his defensive force to the Lakers as he's one of the league's top shot blockers and shot changers. He led the NBA in blocked shots per game in three of his first six seasons.
