On June 30, 1992 Michael Jordan scored 35 points including six 3-pointers during the first half of game 1 of the 1992 NBA Finals against the Portland Trailblazers. The 35 points in a half are still an NBA Finals record and the six 3-pointers were an NBA Finals record until 2010 when Ray Allen passed him with seven. Following his sixth 3-pointer, Jordan shrugged as if he couldn’t explain what he had just accomplished. This particular moment and game would forever be known as “the shrug” game.
