The lithograph is limited edition artist's proof and has been hand-numbered #52 / 97.

The lithograph was commissioned to be created by renowned artist Daniel Parry in 1997 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 1972 Summit Series played between Team Canada and the USSR. Parry’s design features 19 of Team Canada’s players lined up along the blue line prior to the 8th and final game of the series played at Luzhniki Arena in the Soviet Union. This year, 2022, marks the 50th anniversary of this legendary event.
