Photo measures 16" x 20" in size and has been hand-signed in black felt-tip pen by Wayne Gretzky (Kings, HOF).

Wayne Gretzky played his first NHL season in 1979-80 for the Edmonton Oilers after a season in the WHA playing for the Indianapolis Racers. In his first NHL season he scored 51 goals with 86 assists and was awarded the Hart Memorial Trophy for the league"™s MVP. Gretzky was the first rookie to ever win the Hart Memorial Trophy. The Lady Byng Memorial Trophy awarded to the player who "exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability" was also awarded to Gretzky in his first NHL season. Gretzky went on to win the Lady Byng Trophy four more times throughout his career and four Stanley Cup championships. Gretzky"™s rookie season is still the highest point total by a first-year player in NHL history with 137 points.
