It's a team best remembered for the trio of Shaquille O'Neal, Dwyane Wade and coach Pat Riley, a group that will enjoy joint immortality in the Basketball Hall of Fame. After cruising to a ten-game margin of victory to claim the Southeast Division, the Heat would dispatch the Chicago Bulls, the New Jersey Nets and the Detroit Pistons to earn a Finals meeting with the Dallas Mavericks, who were also enjoying their first Conference Championship in franchise history. But after splitting the first two games of the Finals, the Heat took control, ending the series in six and setting these Championship rings into production.
This particular example was issued to the brother of forward Antoine Walker, the secondary tier crafted from ten karat gold, as "Jostens 10K" stamping at interior band confirms. A mass of genuine diamonds coats the face, which features a golden Larry O'Brien Trophy and the words "World Champions." Left shank holds the logos of the Heat and the NBA above the word "Family." Right shank pictures the American Airlines Center and text reading, "Tobias, 15 Strong, Faith, 2006." Tobias Walker is Antoine's brother. Size eleven and a half (11.5). Weight fifty-six grams (56g.). Flawless condition, with original hinged wooden display case and cardboard packaging.
