### **About David Robinson**

**David Maurice Robinson** (b. August 6, 1965) is a retired **NBA Hall of Fame center** who played his entire professional basketball career (1989–2003) with the **San Antonio Spurs**. Known affectionately as **“The Admiral”**, Robinson was a ten-time NBA All-Star, two-time NBA Champion, NBA MVP (1995), Defensive Player of the Year, and a member of the NBA’s 50th and 75th Anniversary Teams. He was inducted into the **Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame** in 2009.

Before joining the NBA, Robinson graduated from the **United States Naval Academy** with a degree in mathematics and earned **College Player of the Year** honors in 1987.
