**Marta Bohn-Meyer (1957–2005)** was a pioneering figure in American aviation and aerospace engineering. She began her career with **NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center** and quickly advanced to become the **first female flight engineer to fly in the SR-71 Blackbird**, the fastest manned aircraft ever built. As part of the NASA SR-71 program, she flew critical missions to gather scientific data, contributing to advanced research on aerodynamics and high-speed flight.
