About the Signers
Arval Roberson, Harry Mace, Ted Conlin, Bill Dunlop, and Charles Weaver were among the courageous fighter pilots of the 8th and 9th Air Forces, flying P-51 Mustangs in intense combat missions over Europe. Each pilot contributed to the success of long-range escort missions that neutralized the Luftwaffe and protected Allied bombers during critical operations.
