The 1934A $500 Federal Reserve Note from the New York district is a rare and valuable piece of U.S. currency. Issued during the Great Depression, this note features a portrait of President William McKinley on the front. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is identified by the letter "B" and its corresponding seal. Although $500 notes were primarily used for large-scale bank transfers and transactions between institutions, they were discontinued in 1969 due to lack of use. Today, these notes are highly sought after by collectors for their historical significance and rarity, often commanding high prices depending on condition and serial number.
Due to the uniqueness of each item, please refer to the photos provided in this auction. We offer high resolution images of each item rather than a written description of condition.
