Spending his entire 16-year career with the Denver Broncos, Elway became known for his strong arm, clutch performances, and ability to lead dramatic comebacks, earning the nickname “Captain Comeback.” He guided the Broncos to five Super Bowl appearances, finally capturing back-to-back championships in Super Bowls XXXII and XXXIII, with the latter marking his retirement on top. Elway was a nine-time Pro Bowler, a league MVP, and finished his career with over 51,000 passing yards and 300 touchdown passes. His legacy extends beyond his playing days, as he went on to serve as a highly successful executive for the Broncos, helping build the team that won Super Bowl 50.
