Ed Freeman Signed Cut Signature with Portrait (PSA) Vietnam MOH Recipient

Earned a place among America’s greatest military heroes for his valor during the Battle of Ia Drang in the Vietnam War

"Offered is a scarce hand-signed cut signature of Medal of Honor Recipient Major Ed W. Freeman (1927–2008), executed in pencil. This signature originates from a limited edition Gathering of Eagles lithograph and has been preserved as a stand-alone collectible. It comes authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA, ensuring both preservation and permanent verification of authenticity.

Ed Freeman, known to his comrades as “Too Tall,” earned a place among America’s greatest military heroes for his valor during the Battle of Ia Drang in the Vietnam War. On November 14, 1965, serving as a helicopter pilot with the 229th Assault Helicopter Battalion, Freeman repeatedly flew his unarmed Huey into intense enemy fire to deliver ammunition and evacuate the wounded. Over the course of 14 missions into a landing zone under relentless fire, he rescued some 30 critically wounded soldiers, actions that went above and beyond the call of duty.

For his extraordinary heroism, Freeman was awarded the Medal of Honor, presented by President George W. Bush in 2001. He also received the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Bronze Star Medal during his distinguished career. His courage and selflessness embody the highest traditions of the United States Army and the Medal of Honor.

This signed cut, authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA, represents not only a treasured autograph but also a profound piece of American history tied to one of the Vietnam War’s most defining moments.
