Presented is a scarce hand-signed cut signature of World War II Ace Marcel Albert (1917–2010), executed in pencil. This signature was originally obtained as part of a limited edition Gathering of Eagles lithograph and has since been carefully preserved as a stand-alone collectible.

Marcel Albert was one of France’s most celebrated fighter aces of World War II. A pilot in the famed Normandie-Niemen Squadron, Albert achieved distinction flying alongside Soviet forces on the Eastern Front. Over the course of his wartime service, he was officially credited with 23 confirmed aerial victories, making him the second-highest scoring French ace of the war. For his valor and skill, Albert was awarded some of the most prestigious decorations, including the Hero of the Soviet Union, the Croix de Guerre, and membership in the Légion d’honneur.
