"Presented is a hand-signed 3x5 index card by Technical Sergeant Charles J. Ozuk (1919–1999), signed in permanent ink. The autograph has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA, ensuring both authenticity and long-term preservation.

Charles Ozuk served as a gunner and engineer with the legendary Doolittle Raiders, the men who carried out the audacious Tokyo Raid of April 18, 1942. Flying in one of the 16 B-25 Mitchell bombers launched from the deck of the aircraft carrier USS Hornet, Ozuk and his fellow raiders struck military and industrial targets on the Japanese home islands. The mission, led by Lieutenant Colonel James H. Doolittle, was the first American air raid on Japan following Pearl Harbor.

Although the raid caused limited physical damage, its psychological impact was profound, demonstrating to both Allied and Axis powers that Japan itself was vulnerable to American air attack. For their courage and willingness to embark on a mission with little chance of returning safely, the Doolittle Raiders became national heroes, and their actions remain among the most celebrated episodes of World War II.
