"Presented is a Nebraska Cornhuskers mini helmet, hand signed in permanent ink by two of the program’s most celebrated quarterbacks: Tommie Frazier and Jerry Tagge. Each has added a historic inscription marking their championship eras—Frazier inscribed “94/95 National Champs” and Tagge inscribed “70/71 National Champs.” The signatures have been authenticated by PSA/DNA and the helmet is accompanied by their Certificate of Authenticity, ensuring both verification and long-term preservation.
Jerry Tagge (b. 1950) was the field general of Nebraska’s first two national championship teams under head coach Bob Devaney. His leadership and clutch performances in the 1971 Orange Bowl and the 1972 Orange Bowl secured the Huskers’ back-to-back titles in 1970 and 1971, laying the foundation for Nebraska’s rise as a national powerhouse. Selected in the first round of the 1972 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers, Tagge remains one of the defining figures of Nebraska’s early championship era.
Tommie Frazier (b. 1974) led Nebraska to back-to-back titles in the 1994 and 1995 seasons under Hall of Fame coach Tom Osborne. Known for his toughness, leadership, and playmaking ability, Frazier engineered one of the most dominant offenses in college football history. His legendary performance in the 1996 Fiesta Bowl, in which the Huskers dismantled Florida 62–24, is remembered as one of the greatest individual efforts in bowl history. Inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2013, Frazier’s name is synonymous with Nebraska’s golden era of the 1990s.
This dual-signed and inscribed mini helmet represents a rare pairing of the quarterbacks who brought Nebraska its first national championships in 1970–71 and its most dominant championships in 1994–95. Authenticated and certified by PSA/DNA, it stands as a unique collectible celebrating the legacy of Husker excellence across two dynasties.
