Presented is a hand-signed 8x10 aviation art print by celebrated artist Jay Ashurst, personally autographed in ink by pioneering aviatrix Evelyn “Bobbi” Trout (1906–2003). The signature has been authenticated by PSA/DNA and is accompanied by their Letter of Authenticity, ensuring both verification and long-term preservation.

Evelyn “Bobbi” Trout was one of the true trailblazers of early American aviation—a record-setting pilot whose courage, determination, and technical skill helped pave the way for women in flight during the Golden Age of Aviation. Born in Los Angeles in 1906, Trout earned her pilot’s license in 1928 at a time when only a handful of women had taken to the skies. Her early achievements quickly made her a national figure in the emerging field of long-distance and endurance flying.

In 1929, Bobbi Trout set multiple world endurance records for women pilots, including the first all-night solo endurance flight, flying more than 17 hours in a Golden Eagle monoplane. That same year, she became one of the founding members of The Ninety-Nines, the pioneering international organization of women pilots established with Amelia Earhart. Trout also participated in the first Women’s Air Derby, the historic cross-country air race that helped bring female aviators to public prominence.

Throughout her long life, Trout remained a vocal advocate for aviation education and the recognition of women’s contributions to aerospace history. Her accomplishments are enshrined in both the National Aviation Hall of Fame and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, where her story continues to inspire future generations of aviators.

This Jay Ashurst art print—hand signed by Bobbi Trout and authenticated by PSA/DNA—represents a rare and historic autograph from one of aviation’s earliest and most influential female pioneers.
