Presented is a hand-signed 5x7 aviation print personally autographed by Colonel Francis S. “Gabby” Gabreski (1919–2002), one of America’s most accomplished fighter aces of both World War II and the Korean War. This signature has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA, ensuring both verification and long-term preservation.

Colonel Francis “Gabby” Gabreski was one of the most celebrated fighter pilots in U.S. history. Flying with the 56th Fighter Group “Zemke’s Wolfpack” in the European Theater, Gabreski achieved 28 confirmed aerial victories in his Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, making him the top American ace in the European Theater of Operations. His bold leadership, aggressive flying style, and remarkable marksmanship earned him the admiration of fellow pilots and made him a symbol of Allied air superiority.

On July 20, 1944, during a low-level strafing mission, Gabreski’s aircraft was damaged, forcing him to crash-land in German-occupied France. He was captured and spent the remainder of the war as a prisoner at Stalag Luft I. After the war, Gabreski continued his distinguished military career, later flying the F-86 Sabre in Korea, where he scored 6½ additional victories, becoming one of the few U.S. pilots to achieve ace status in two wars.

Over the course of his career, Gabreski received numerous awards and decorations, including the Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, and Air Medal, cementing his status as one of the greatest American fighter pilots of the 20th century.

This PSA/DNA encapsulated 5x7 print—bearing the bold signature of Francis “Gabby” Gabreski—represents an exceptional piece of aviation history, signed by a true American air combat legend.
