Kirk Gibson, played for numerous teams during his career, but was a star outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1988 to 1990. In 1988, Gibson was named the NL MVP, and helped lead the Dodgers to a victory in the World Series. During Game 1, he hit a walk-off home run against Dennis Eckersley to give the Dodgers the 1988 Series Game 1 victory. It is still known as one of the most exciting moments in World Series history.
