Wanderlei Silva is a Brazilian former mixed martial artist who competed in Japan's Pride Fighting Championships and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He holds the record for the most wins, knockouts, title defenses and longest winning streak in PRIDE history. He is the former PRIDE Middleweight Champion and the 2003 PRIDE Middleweight Grand Prix Tournament Champion. He most recently competed for Bellator MMA in the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions. In February 2024, Silva was announced as the next inductee in the "pioneer wing" of the UFC Hall of Fame

Celebrity and sports photographer Eric Williams has a passion for MMA Athletes. What drew him to MMA is that Eric feels they “are the most elite athletes in the world, who behind their craft, are simply the nicest people in the world. They are not the monsters some people think they are.” His photography shows this, showcasing the art and the dedication it takes to become a champion.

When asked how he gains access that few others seem to have to these elite athletes, Eric responds, “I ask for the access, pure and simple. I treat each athlete as if they were my family. I treat all athletes as I would want to be treated. These athletes trust me and my art.” When further asked how he gets his unparalleled access to these fighters he replies, “Many photographers come to the actual event/fight only or when there is a party. I go to their training camp. I make a commitment to the fighter. I am with that fighter during his training for the fight, again, not just the fight. Few if any do this.” Eric states proudly that his specialty is shooting in and during camp and right up to the fight….not the actual fight.

To date, Eric has done over 31 MMA Magazine Covers. His covers include Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, GSP, Anderson Silva, Wanderlei Silva, Rashad Lewis, and Uriah Favor. He also did the historic cover of the Three Kings – Lid-dell, Couture, and Wanderlei Silva. This sheer number of covers speaks volumes to how the industry looks to Eric Williams
