Baseball has been inscribed by Dave Parker in black felt-tip pen, "First Major League Grand Slam, Sept. 8th 1974 Off Tom Walker Montreal".

Shortly before he earned the nickname "The Cobra," Pirates All-Star outfielder Dave Parker popped his first career grand slam as a pinch-hitter vs. Montreal in the eighth inning of a late 1974 game, helping the Pirates to the National League Eastern Division crown.
