With each season he plays, Connor McDavid continues to etch his name more and more in the Oilers' history books. Already, McDavid has won 5 Art Ross Trophies, 3 Hart Memorial Trophies, 2 Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophies, and 1 Conn Smythe Trophy. On November 14th, 2024, McDavid gave his career another landmark moment, scoring his 1,000th point on a 2nd period goal as part of a 2-1 victory over the Nashville Predators. McDavid became the 99th player in NHL history to achieve the feat and the fourth fastest and fourth youngest to reach the milestone. In commemoration, the Oilers honored McDavid's 1,000th point before their home game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on December 5, 2024 by presenting him with a golden stick and a Tiffany crystal.
