Kara Zor-El is the name of the DC comics character more commonly known as Supergirl. First appearing in Action Comics #252, she is a survivor of Krypton and the cousin of Superman. Being Kryptonian, Kara shares the same powers as Superman including superhuman strength, speed, invulnerability, and flight. She can be seen in her own show "Supergirl" that is currently at a 95% critic rating on review-aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes.
