A custom triple matted museum frame capable of preserving your one of a kind historic treasure. It measures 23" by 23.75" in size and features a 4" by 6" photo that has been hand-signed by Thomas Edison (D. 1931) and personalized to O.B. George photograph dated 1904. This signature and personalization is one of the darkest, clearest, and distinctly Edison, that you're likely ever to have a chance to own. The display also includes a 2004-P silver $1 dollar liberty coin, celebrating the 125th anniversary of the invention of the light bulb, a century-old "Edison Disc Phonograph" trademark plaque (the age is signified by the last patent date of 1916), a Thomas Edison FDC 100th anniversary postcard of his birth dated February 11, 1947, with (4) three cent Edison stamps affixed and an 8" by 9" photo of a young Edison displaying his phonograph.

Thomas Edison was a brilliant, persistent, and prolific inventor, holding 1,093 US patents and many more worldwide. The "Wizard of Menlo Park" produced the historic phonograph, light bulb, and the motion picture camera. He was indefatigable as demonstrated by his quote: "I have not failed, I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

The lot / autograph(s) includes an official James Spence Authentication (JSA) hologram and matching LOA for authenticity purposes.

Authentication: JSA LOA
