It's difficult to contain the contributions Gary Player made the sport of golf and the human race really in a few sentences. He was a championship golfer who traveled the planet promoting the great game. At the same time, he was a champion for human rights and animal rights causes all over the world. He received the Bob Jones Award by the USGA in 1966 and eight years later was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. On the course, he captured 24 wins on the PGA Tour, including nine major championships. One of his signature moves was kicking his leg high in the air after a made putt. Showing his flexibility as he enters his 80s, Player is seen here celebrating another made putt. Player has signed this limited edition (25) The Kick 16" x 20" image in black felt tip pen.
