Amongst the thousands and thousands of films ever made, only a small percentage could be considered great. And of those that are considered to be great films, “The Wizard of Oz” stands out from the rest of the pack. The film was MGM's most expensive production up to that time, explaining why the studio was unable to recoup its initial investment when it was first released, but it made up for that in subsequent re-releases. "Over the Rainbow" won the Academy Award for Best Original Song and the film itself received several Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture. Telecasts of the film began in 1956, and because of them the film has found a larger audience—its television screenings were once an annual tradition and have re-introduced the film to the public, making “The Wizard of Oz” one of the most famous films ever made. The Library of Congress named “The Wizard of Oz” as the most-watched film in history.  It is often ranked among the top ten best movies of all-time in various critics' and popular polls, and it has provided many memorable quotes of both modern American and world popular culture.

Offered here is truly one of the most attractive displays of "Wizard of Oz" memorabilia we have encountered. It is comprised of a montage of photos, checks, and contracts signed by the four key cast members from the 1939 cinematic classic. Attractively matted in a green suede ensemble, signatures contained in this display include: a Kingsrow business bank check endorsed by Judy Garland ("Dorothy") in blue ballpoint; 8.5" x 3.5" bank check signed by Jack Haley ("The Tin Man") in black ballpoint pen; an official Certificate of Membership to the swanky Riviera Country Club issued to and signed by Ray Bolger ("The Tin Man"); 8; and a rare one page AFTRA television appearance document signed by Bert Lahr ("The Cowardly Lion") in a crisp blue ballpoint pen.

The autograph includes an official PSA/DNA hologram and matching LOA for authenticity purposes.
