Piece measures approximately 31.5" x 27.5" in size and is highlighted by a handwritten letter by Eleanor Gehrig (wife of Lou Gehrig). The letter is dated October 28, 1973 and includes interesting content about a salvaged first base going to the Hall of Fame. Please note, the lower right photograph in the display is crooked and can be straightened if the display is opened. The frame also has some wear. The piece includes a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Auction House LOA for authenticity purposes.
