Angora Veil is a heart-birthed photographic homage expressing “perfection”. Women growing up in today’s world are taught to be perfect from a young age. From commercials on the radio and TV to social conditioning, we are told we must: have the perfect body, have the perfect hair, get a spray tan to get a “better you”, find the perfect husband, have the perfect wedding, have the perfect car. All this “perfect” is mental programming rooted deep in our subconscious mind for generations. It has conditioned us to believe that we are not good enough just the way we are. Angora veil shows a wedding veil wrapped around a beautiful face. It spirals around her face, exaggerating the need to be more and more perfect until she is blind to her own truth. Yet, there is a hidden message. If you look closely into the center of the image you will see her seductive lips, and if you look closer you will see that her teeth are imperfect. It is our imperfections that make us perfect and unique. Let us all embrace our perfect imperfections so we can make this a perfectly imperfect world.

May was born in Houston, Tx. and moved to Israel when she was nine years old. Her career in the arts began after leaving the military at the age of twenty. From 2006 to 2011, she traveled to twenty-five countries and captured the movements of the world. Gifted with the talent as a Photo Documentarian, it is her distinct pleasure to share her travels with others. Most rewarding is the joy that comes from touching people's hearts-- as it truly gives meaning to the human condition---existence, meaning and purpose. During her travels, May became a faithful visitor to New Orleans and officially moved there in February 2015 to expand her creativity and vision of such a magical city. You can find her work displayed in galleries, restaurants and cafe across the city. May is wanderlust by nature and can also be found across the nation exhibiting her work in a wide range of Fine Art Shows and Music Festivals, and in her spare time gliding across the globe following light and timeless moments that capture her heart and unique eye."
