After finishing the 2009-10 season with an 8-5 record, the Auburn Tigers handed the keys to their offense to junior transfer quarterback Cam Newton for the 2010-11 season. After defeating South Carolina 56-17 in the SEC Championship game, the Tigers were selected to play in the BSC National Championship game versus Oregon.
