America was built on courage, on imagination, and on unbeatable determination to do the job at hand.”

Also included is the transmittal envelope with a facsimile free frank signature and an official James Spence authentication (JSA) hologram and matching LOA for authenticity purposes.

President Truman grew up in Independence, Missouri and early on served as a Captain of artillery in World War 1. Elected first as a Senator from Missouri, Truman was chosen as Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Vice-President for his 4th term. Upon Roosevelt’s death, Truman assumed the office of President. With a possible invasion of a resolute and fanatical Japan on the horizon, and the possible untold number of American and allied soldier’s deaths, Truman authorized the use of the atomic bomb. This brought about the end of World War II, and the cessation of the loss of needless lives around the globe.

This one of a kind display was created for generations of enjoyment of this remarkable man.

The lot / autograph(s) includes an official James Spence Authentication (JSA) hologram and matching LOA for authenticity purposes.
