Marcus Mariota then declared for the 2015 NFL Draft and was selected 2nd overall by the Tennessee Titans. Billed as the franchise quarterback, Mariota was named the starting quarterback during the preseason. The cool, calm, and collected quarterback came out the gate blazing, throwing four touchdowns and earning a perfect passer rating (158.3) during his NFL debut on September 13, 2015.
