Gooden is a four-time MLB All-Star, and three-time World Series champion. He won the National League (NL) Rookie of the Year Award in 1984, as he led the league in strikeouts, and then won the NL Cy Young Award in 1985. While a member of the Yankees, Gooden threw a no-hitter in 1996.

Rivera, nicknamed "Mo" and "Sandman", served as the lights out closer for the New York Yankees for 17 seasons. He hold the MLB record for saves (652) and games finished (952). Rivera was a 13x All-Star and 5x World Series Champion.
