Custom frame measures 22.5" x 23.5" in size. Features the contract dated Feb. 1, 1972 that has been hand-signed by Nolan Ryan (HOF), Joe Cronin (D. 1984, HOF) and Harry Dalton (D. 2005) for Ryan to pitch for the California Angels. The display also features 1971 Topps #513 and 1972 Topps #595 baseball cards that have each been hand-signed by Nolan Ryan.

In one of the worst trades in baseball history, the NY Mets traded Nolan Ryan to the California Angels in exchange for Jim Fregosi. The 24-year-old Ryan was just entering his prime superstar years while veteran Fregosi was on the downside of his career. 1972 was a banner year for Ryan, who racked up 19 wins, a 2.28 era and a league-leading 329 K's. Fregosi tanked for the Mets that year, batting .232 with five HR's. Ryan went on to become one of the greatest pitcher's of all time winning more than 300 games and striking out an incredible 5,714 batters in his career. A record that will never be broken!

The lot / autograph(s) includes an official PSA/DNA hologram and matching LOA as well as encapsulated by PSA/DNA for authenticity purposes.
