This official game football was presented to Ken Stabler by the Raiders after winning the AFC Championship game against the Steelers on December 26, 1976. The ball is engraved with the date and the final score. The ball no longer holds air but holds shape for display and can be repaired.

This AFC Championship win gave the Raiders a Super Bowl XI birth which they also went on to win.

Ken Stabler, nicknamed "The Snake", spent his legendary career with the Oakland Raiders (1970–1979), Houston Oilers (1980–1981) and New Orleans Saints (1982–1984). He finished his college career at Alabama with a 28–3–2 record as a starter. In the NFL, Stabler was the 1974 NFL MVP, a 4x Pro Bowl Selection, and won Super Bowl XI.
