Obverse: Common to entire series, depicting George Washington in a restored version of the portrait created by John Flanagan for the 1932 Washington quarter.

Reverse: The reverse image depicts a Roosevelt elk standing on a gravel river bar of the Hoh River with a view of Mount Olympus in the background. Though management of this forest wilderness area first came under the management of the USDA Forest Service in 1907, it was not until 37 years later that Olympic was established as a National Park. Encompassing close to a million acres, this amazingly diverse wilderness forest and wildlife area also is rich with cultural heritage. This ATB coin finely captures a sense of the beauty of that diversity.
