About Rusty Gilligan:

He has been a fixture in comics since 1978 with credits including Marvel, DC, Big Bang, Image, Heavy Metal and more. His film work includes the original “Heavy Metal”, “Spider-Man 2 & 3?, and more recently “Captain America”, the "Avengers", and “The Walking Dead”... as well as followup artwork for "Night of the Living Dead", "Alien", "Firefly", "Dr Who", "Star Wars" and many others. He recently provided production art on 3 new horror films in 2015: "100 Acres of Hell", "Radioactive Flesh Eating Foliage", and "Succubus" - and is set to work on 2 major motion pictures in 2017 !

In recent years, Gilligan rejoined the trading card arena and has provided cards for Upper Deck, Breygent Marketing, Cryptozoic Entertainment, Cult-Stuf, and many others.

Rusty is the creator of a wildly popular comic called "The Adventures of Mac and Trouble" www.macandtrouble.com. Mac and Trouble have their own comic series as well as a newspaper strip. Recently, they've headlined a new series called "Amazing Tails". In 2018, they will be the stars of their own motion picture.

As an actor, Rusty has appeared in "Little House on the Prairie" and in the original Disney hit "Pete's Dragon" among others. He's lent his voice to many horror and animated projects as well.

Recently, he provided illustrations for a Dr Who card set and guide... sketch cards for the Upper Deck "Alien" licensed card set... a new Mac and Trouble comic book... and is about to work on a new film project license to be released in 2017.
