Pujols made his MLB debut in 2001 with the St. Louis Cardinals, where he quickly established himself as a dominant force at the plate. He won three National League Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards during his time with the Cardinals in 2005, 2008, and 2009.

During his tenure with the Cardinals, Pujols helped lead the team to two World Series championships in 2006 and 2011. He was a key contributor in those playoff runs, delivering clutch hits and showcasing his remarkable offensive skills.

In 2012, Pujols signed a 10-year contract with the Los Angeles Angels. While his production remained solid, injuries limited his playing time and impacted his performance at times. Nonetheless, Pujols continued to reach significant milestones throughout his career. He joined the exclusive 3,000-hit club in 2018, and he has surpassed the 600-home run mark.

Pujols has been recognized for his contributions to the game with numerous accolades, including 10 All-Star selections, two Gold Glove Awards, and six Silver Slugger Awards. He is highly regarded for his disciplined approach at the plate, ability to hit for power and average, and his leadership qualities both on and off the field.
