Official Chicago Cubs game ticket is dated for September 2nd, 1986 and has been hand-signed and inscribed by Cubs legend, Greg Maddux! Maddux inscribed the ticket with inscriptions for his MLB debut. Maddux's inscriptions read:

- "MLB Debut"

- "Game On 9-2-86"

- "Played On 9-3-86"

The reason for Maddux noted that the game was scheduled for September 2nd but wasn't played till September 3rd is because the game had been postponed due to darkness. Wrigley Field didn't have lights to play under until two years later!

Now is the opportunity for any baseball fan to add a unique piece to their own personal collection!

Greg Maddux, a future Hall of Fame pitcher, made his MLB debut on September 2, 1986, with the Chicago Cubs. Despite being just 20 years old at the time, Maddux displayed remarkable poise and command on the mound. In his debut against the Houston Astros, Maddux pitched a solid game, foreshadowing the incredible career that would unfold. His intelligent approach to pitching, impeccable control, and ability to outsmart hitters became trademarks of Maddux's style. Little did the baseball world know that this debut would mark the beginning of a storied career that would include four Cy Young Awards, over 300 career victories, and a reputation as one of the greatest pitchers in the history of the game. Maddux's 1986 MLB debut was a glimpse into the brilliance that would define his illustrious career.
