Original June 23rd, 1936 postcard has been hand-signed on the back by baseball legend, Jimmie Foxx!

Jimmie Foxx, widely regarded as one of the most formidable power hitters in baseball history, left an indelible impact on the sport during the early to mid-20th century. Playing primarily for the Philadelphia Athletics and later the Boston Red Sox, Foxx's prodigious slugging ability earned him the nickname "Double X." A three-time MVP and a nine-time All-Star, Foxx achieved remarkable success with his powerful bat, leading the league in home runs four times. His 1932 season with the Athletics, where he hit 58 home runs and batted .364, remains one of the most remarkable individual performances in baseball history. Foxx's legacy extends beyond statistics; his on-field prowess set a standard for power hitting, influencing generations of players who followed. Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1951, Jimmie Foxx remains an enduring symbol of excellence in the annals of the sport.
