Led by a young Michael Jordan, the North Carolina Tar Heels faced Georgetown in an epic 1982 NCAA Championship Game set in New Orleans, Louisiana. After a timeout, North Carolina worked the ball to its young freshman guard, Michael Jordan, who hit a jumper from the left wing with 17 seconds to go to put Carolina on top, 63-62. Aside from the dramatic finish in the final minute, the 1982 North Carolina Championship Game is primarily remembered as the stage on which several eventual basketball legends were introduced to a national audience, particularly Michael Jordan of the UNC Tarheels. Upper Deck Authenticated has encapsulated this historic NCAA Championship moment with a picture of Michael Jordan cutting down the nets to commemorate his only NCAA title while at UNC. This 24" x 16" image is autographed by Michael Jordan in a metallic gold paint pen and its authenticity is backed by Upper Decks five step authentication process.
The autograph(s) includes an official Upper Deck Authenticated (UDA) hologram and matching COA for authenticity purposes.
