Urijah Faber is an American mixed martial artist and actor affiliated with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Renowned for his versatility, he has competed in both bantamweight and featherweight divisions throughout his career. Additionally, Faber is recognized as the founder of Team Alpha Male.

His remarkable journey in MMA includes capturing the WEC Featherweight Championship at WEC 19 on March 17, 2006, holding the title for over two and a half years before relinquishing it to Mike Brown at WEC 36 on November 5, 2008. Despite this setback, Faber's determination led him to vie for the WEC Featherweight Championship two more times and contend for the UFC Bantamweight Championship on four occasions.

Faber's contributions to the sport extend beyond his accomplishments in the octagon; he is widely hailed as one of MMA's pioneers, instrumental in elevating the status of lighter-weight classes. Following his retirement on July 6, 2017, Faber was rightfully honored with induction into the UFC Hall of Fame as part of the Modern-era wing.
