1901 $10 Ten Dollar U.S. Bank Note

This commemorative note, known as the Lewis and Clark $10 Gold Certificate, was issued to celebrate the centennial of the Louisiana Purchase and the Lewis and Clark Expedition. It featured portraits of Meriwether Lewis and William Clark on the obverse, along with other explorers and Native American guides. The reverse side depicted various scenes from their journey across the American West.
